Led by the spirit

I get to Wood Green around 10am and met Shahein who was going to help me get more CD supplies in order to distribute my current album. I then headed to Morrison’s to have a good old English breakfast and get ready for the evangelism training and outreach which was in 3 hours time.

I read half of “Even so I send you” a book on being sent for God , it gave me a really good perspective on certain aspects of evangelism. So we prayed, sang and headed out to Wood Green High street at 5pm to reach people for the lord. Our aim today was to let the Holy Spirit lead us more than ever before especially with regard to saying the right words that would help people.

Rob (From the Freedom House) did some street preaching and did a few songs as well. He spoke with a confidence that I had not seen in him before. I really could see the passion in his preaching and rapping, even though he felt he didn’t do too good, he took the next opportunity to try again. During the last half hour all the other crew were surrounded by people and engaged in conversation while the others began to intercede for the people that were currently listening as the amount listening were growing.

I remember towards the end I got really dizzy and felt faint after an hour of outreaching the guys prayed for me and I immediately felt the energy to carry on for much longer. At this point I really felt led by Gods spirit , it didn’t matter that i made a mistake on a song i was doing , God gave me other words to use, (I guess specific for that time). I then closed of with a few words. I believe a lot of seed was sown that night and someone will see the fruit in time to come. God really used each and everyone of us and I cant wait for tonight when we outreach in Leicester Square.
