Halloween Outreach 2007

Halloween is a time when some people go out for innocent fun but also a time when people get involved with rituals that are clearly evil and its our responsibility to shine a light in Camden.

Anyone walking past Camden would have seen a big make shift confessional stand where people were invited in for some confession time with a bit of a twist to it , the person who would normally listen to the confession was actually the one who began to confess how the Church has fallen short of Gods standard and how we all fall short.

I perfomed a few songs , played some music and did a bit of preaching with Bola and Brandon (Fresh from the Future in his boxing gear…see Blast from the past blog). We were Joined by John , Kathy , Andy , Ola , Dan , Paria , Jenney , Craig , Chinelo , Owen and a few Christians from Camden all joining together to spread the word.

There was a community Police officer who wanted to find out more but couldn’t as he was on duty , there were people taking an interest. A few walked in and much to our surprise began to confess. Our prayer was people would see that its by Jesus that we are forgiven , we are all sinners but through Jesus we are Justified.

The next night outreach is the 23 November….
